How To Change Phone Number on Groupme on PC or Mac
You can learn how to change your phone number on the GroupMe app for PC and Mac.
Step 1: Go to the GroupMe app.
The icon has a white face in a chat bubble.
Step 2: Click on it.
Under the three-line button it's on the left-side column.
Step 3: Click on the pencil icon.
The profile column has it in the upper-right corner.
Step 4: You can change your phone number.
It's below your email address.
Step 5: You can change the number.
It is at the bottom of the menu.
Step 6: Enter your new phone number.
To enter the correct country code, enter your full number.
Step 7: Click to send it.
There is a blue button at the bottom of the menu.The confirmation PIN will be sent in a text message.The button won't work until you enter a valid phone number.
Step 8: The verification PIN needs to be entered.
You have a new phone number.
Step 9: Go to the website in a web browser.
The GroupMe browser app is opened.If you aren't logging in automatically, log in.
Step 10: Click on the icon.
Under the GroupMe icon, it's in the left-side column.
Step 11: Next to your phone number, click the Edit button.
Step 12: Go to the new phone number.
You can enter a country code with your full number.
Step 13: Click submit.
The pop-up window explains that a text message will be sent to your new phone number.
Step 14: Click ok.
This shows that you have received the text message.
Step 15: The verification PIN needs to be entered.
