You've beaten the first Legend of Zelda game many times, and now you're looking for a new challenge.The swordless run is a new challenge you can do.It's like a normal run, except that you can't use your sword until you fight Ganon.You only have to use the sword to beat Ganon, so you can play the entire game without one.You can run without a sword in the game.
Step 1: Start a new file.
Step 2: Do not use the sword if you get it like normal.
Step 3: The Blue Candle can be bought if you get some rupees.
You can use the candle as a weapon if you can't use your sword.You can get 100 rupee by going to a secret area in the top-right corner of the map.
Step 4: Bombs and arrows can be purchased.
These are your primary weapons in the beginning of the game.In this game, arrows use rupees, so have plenty of them on you at all times.
Step 5: You don't have to use your sword in the game.
The Magical Rod is a useful long-range weapon that can do damage with strikes that are similar to the sword, so use it as your primary weapon once you get it.
Step 6: Don't forget to watch the credits roll.
This is the only time you can use your sword.It's a very difficult challenge and you should be proud of completing it.
