This guide will show you how to get the current Hardmode characters in Terraria.
Step 1: A pirate invasion can be defeated.
You can get a Pirate Map by defeating a Goblin Invasion.On PC, you will have to destroy flying ships to get past a pirate invasion.If you have one that isn't occupied, a pirate will move into the house.
Step 2: A surface Mushroom Biome is where you can make a house.
You have to break the tall grass that grows from the underground mushroom area.You need Mushroom Biome seeds to do this.Get mud from the jungle and plant a mushroom seed in it.Once the glowing mushrooms grow, build a house and a Truffle will move into it.The house has to be on top of the grass in the Mushroom biome.
Step 3: The Cavern layer is explored.
There is a bound wizard.Talk to him and let him go.He is going to move into your house eventually.
Step 4: One of the mechanical bosses is to be defeated.
The easiest to beat is the Destroyer.You can make a mechanical worm from 6 souls of night, 15 vertabrae/rotten Chunk, and 5 iron bars at a Mythril or Orithcalum Anvil.The Steampunker will be in an available house after one is defeated.
Step 5: The Jungle grows restless after all three mechanical bosses are defeated.
The Underground Jungle is where Plantera's Bulb has spawned.Find it and destroy it.This will summon the boss.After you beat her, she will want to live in a house.
Step 6: The Snow Globe summoned the Frost Legion.
Santa is only available to spawn after you beat it.After that, he stopped spawning.He stays all year around once you get him.
