How To Hypnotize Someone With the Magnetic Hands Technique

The Magnetic hands are easy to use. It's a form of hypnotism that can be done by anyone.Proceed from there if you find a participant and lull them into a state of hypnotism.

Step 1: Someone may be willing to be hypnotized.

Someone willing to work with you is a must before you try the magnetic hands technique.Look for a friend or family member who will let you practice hypnotism on them.Pick someone you're close to first before trying to hypnotize them.It can take a long time to get the technique right.

Step 2: They should be in the right position.

When you've found a participant, get them in the right position. They should be taught how to place their hands. They should sit on a chair or sofa. They should hold their hands in their lap with their palms facing the ceiling.

Step 3: Unless you have specific training, do not perform hypnosis as a form of therapy.

The magnetic hands technique can be fun.Hypnotherapy to treat depression and anxiety should only be administered by a licensed mental health professional. If you are not a trained professional with an advanced understanding of mental illness, you should not attempt to hypnotize someone.

Step 4: Start with a pep talk.

You should let the participant know that you trust them.Put his or her hands forward, 12 inches apart, with palms facing one another. If the participant doesn't understand, show yourself.Give a brief pep talk.It depends on what feels comfortable for you.The message you're conveying is that the participant needs to follow your leads as you place a powerful magnet in their hand."I want you to clear your thoughts now and focus on me," is an example of an opening pep talk.I will be your guide.I am going to place a very powerful magnet in your hand because of the power of your imagination.

Step 5: Push their palms together for the first time.

Touch the palm of their left hand with your finger after the pep talk is over.Touch their right hand with your finger.Say something like, "I am placing the magnet here and here."Push their hands together.

Step 6: The participant must close his or her eyes.

As you push the participant's hands together, make sure he or she closes his or her eyes.Tell the person that he or she should be in a deep state of mind. The participant should fall into a preliminary state of hypnosis after this.

Step 7: For the second time, push their palms together.

Once the participant closes his or her eyes, be told to push their palms together again."You can feel the magnets pulling our palms together."The participant should do some of the work if you have to assist.

Step 8: Tell the person how powerful the magnets are.

Try to lull the person into a state of relaxation. He or she should be told to feel the power of the magnets."There are two powerful magnets that have guided your hands together."You can feel the power of the magnets.Feel your palms moving towards each other.

Step 9: The person should be brought into a state of relaxation.

Bring the participant into a state of relaxation once he or she seems entranced by your words. He or she should be told to focus on his or her body, breaths, and heartbeat. It varies once again.Go with what feels right. The participant is more likely to trust you and follow your lead if you are in control. An example of good script would be "ignore everything but my voice."The other noises are not needed.Pay attention to your breathing and heartbeat. You get further down into a state of calm and relaxation when you take every breath. You can try to count.Try to count backwards from 10 so that the participant pays attention to the breaths he or she takes.

Step 10: Allow them to relax.

The magnetic hands technique takes about 20 minutes to complete.Once the participant has been relaxing for a while, they should awaken from their hypnotized state."Now, wake up and everything will have returned to normal."
