Batman's sidekick is Robin.It is easy to make a costume for him.You can easily make your own Robin costume by buying a few simple supplies.
Step 1: A green T-shirt is available for purchase.

Step 5: Buy tights, pants, or leggings.
You can find leggings, tights, or pants in the same color as the shirt you have.The pants should not have a lot of pockets.Robin wears leggings, tights or pants.
Step 6: There is a pair of red briefs.
On top of the green pants, you should wear a pair of red briefs.The red briefs should be the same color as the red shirt.You can use short red shorts if you can't find red briefs.The green briefs Robin wears are the same color as the green shirt you'll be wearing.
Step 7: A mask can be made.
To make Robin's mask, use black felt and elastic.If you want to make a template for Robin's mask, you can either print it out or draw it on paper.The template can be used to cut the mask shape out of the felt.Attach the elastic to the side of the mask with fabric glue or sew.Pull the elastic around your head to measure where to cut it, if you put the mask on.Attach the mask to the elastic using glue or sewing.Robin wears a mask that looks like a sleep mask or a sash of fabric.
Step 8: You can buy a black belt.
Robin wears a belt.If you want to buy a belt, a military style is the best.To make a belt, you can use a 2 inch strip of black fabric or felt and glue on a yellow buckle made from felt or fabric.Robin is wearing a yellow belt.The yellow circle was made out of foam.
Step 9: Make a cape.
Robin has a cape and costume.The type of Robin you want to be depends on what cape you wear.You should wear a yellow cape if you want to be a classic Robin.If you want to be modern Robin, you should wear a black cape with a yellow underside.Get a piece of fabric that is about a foot larger than your body and long enough to drape on your shoulders and extend down to your calves.If you want a black and yellow cape, sew it together on all four sides.The fabric should be cut into a cape shape.You can cut the cape with a template.Place the fabric in half.The non folded side has a rounded corner if you cut one end of the rectangle.It should be wide enough for your neck.The neck hole can be created by cutting the folded side above the semi circle.To tie the cape, glue or sew a ribbon onto the neck hole.The modern version of Robin's cape has a kung-fu collar.You can separate the cape from the collar.
Step 10: Gloves should be added.
Robin wears gloves.It will be a nice touch if you can find green elbow length gloves.If you cannot find green, you can wear black gloves.
Step 11: You should wear black boots.
You need tall black boots to complete your outfit.Rain boots are the best.You can wear black shoes if you don't have black boots.Robin is wearing green kung-fu shoes.
Step 12: To complete the look, carry a staff.
Robin has a collapsible staff.A staff is a fighting stick.Purchase a staff from a store.You can make your own staff from a broom stick.Wrap the broom stick's center with a thin strip of fabric or rope to hold it in the middle of the staff.Robin doesn't carry this weapon, so he should skip this step.
