How to remove the drive shaft from a 2005 vehicle.
I had the same problem with the joint stuck on the transmission after completing this repair.I have a solution to remove the joint without damaging it.You will need a hammer for this.The through holes in the joint are the same size as the hole needed for a coarse thread bolt.Take a drill bit and use it to bore into 2 bolt holes.The rest of the hole can be tapped using a NC tap.To blow out the chips, use cutting oil and compressed air.
Make sure to use a proper length bolt when bolting on the base for your slide hammer.The joint should pop right off if you thread on the slide hammer.
