How To Rename Multiple Files on Windows

You can learn how to change the names of multiple files at the same time on a Windows PC.

Step 1: The files can be opened in the folder that contains them.

You can change the names of several files at once with this method.There will be different numbers at the end of the files.

Step 2: As you click each file, hold the key.

The key can be released once all files are selected.

Step 3: Click on the files you're interested in.

The blue highlighted area is where you can do this.There will be a menu.

Step 4: Click Rename.

It is at the bottom of the menu.

Step 5: Pick a name for the files.

The first file you type will have a name, while the rest will include a number.The first file will be named test if you type it, and the other files will also be called test.

Step 6: Press Enter.

The files have been renamed.
