How To Search for Movies on Kodi on Android

Adding a movie repository to the Android app will teach you how to find movies in Kodi.

Step 1: You can open Kodi on your phone.

There are 4 blue shapes inside the diamond icon.You can usually find it on the home screen or the app drawer.

Step 2: You can add add-ons.

It is at the center of the column.

Step 3: The open box has an icon.

It is at the top left corner of the screen.

Step 4: From the repository, tap install.

Step 5: Go to the add-on repository.

Step 6: There are tap information providers.

There will be a list of provider types.

Step 7: Clicking on the movie information will take you to that movie's website.

There is a list of movie databases.

Step 8: Go to the movie database.

You may have to scroll down to find it.

Step 9: If you want, you can tap INSTALL.

It is at the bottom-right corner of the screen.The Movie Database is pre-installed in some versions of Kodi.

Step 10: Go to the home screen and tap the Search icon.

There is a magnifying glass near the screen.

Step 11: You can search for TheMovieDB.

If a pop-up message asks you to install a script, tap.

Step 12: The box should have a movie name on it.

Step 13: If you want to, tap OK.

You can find a list of movies that match your search.
