Speed dial is no longer a feature on most phones.Speed dial is no longer relevant since you can add contacts to your phone.You can add contacts to a list of favorites.You can learn how to add contacts to your favorites list on your phone.
Step 1: You can open the phone app.
There is an icon that looks like an old phone receiver.The phone app can be opened with the icon.
Step 2: Contacts can be tapped.
The third tab is at the bottom of the screen.There is a list of your contacts.
Step 3: If you want to add a contact to your favorites, tap it.
The contact's phone number and options are displayed.If the person you want to add to your favorites is not currently a contact, you can use the plus icon in the upper-right corner of your phone or the top of the contacts list.
Step 4: You can tap the info icon.
The contact's information card can be displayed if you tap on the icon that looks like a lowercase "i" inside of a circle.
Step 5: The star icon can be tapped.
It appears next to the contacts name on the phones.It's in the upper-right corner on all other models.The star will change from hollow to filled-in.This means the contact has been added to your favorites list.You can find your favorites at the top of your Contacts list.To view your favorite contacts, tap at the bottom of the menu.To call a favorite, tap the contact's name.The icon looks like an old phone receiver.
