You can learn how to remove the link between your two accounts.You can turn off this process from both mobile and desktop platforms, but you cannot do it on the mobile app.
Step 1: Go to the website.
It's located on the social networking site.If you log in, you will be able to open your home page.If you don't have a password, click again and enter your email address and password.
Step 2: Click your picture.
You can see it on the top-right side of the page.Clicking it will open a menu.If you don't have a profile picture, this icon will display a white egg on a colored background.
Step 3: You can click settings and privacy.
This option is at the bottom of the menu.
Step 4: Click the app you want to use.
The bottom of the list of options has a tab on the left side.
Step 5: Click Revoke access if you want to locate "Tumblr".
There is a button to the right of the "Tumblr" icon.Clicking will remove Tumblr from your account's apps, which will prevent you from posting to Twitter from there.
Step 6: You can open it.
There is an app with a white "t" on it.If you are already signed in, your home page will open.Enter your email address and password if you aren't signed in.
Step 7: You can tap on the "Account" icon.
The person-shaped icon can be found in either the bottom-right corner of the screen or the top- right corner.
Step 8: There is a gear icon.
The profile page has it in the top right corner.
Step 9: Either tap Social Sharing orLinked Accounts.
The account settings page has this option on it.
Step 10: The blue switch is left to the "Off" position.
It should be grey.
Step 11: If you want to, you can tap on UNLINK or TWEET.
If you do this, you will remove the link between the two sites, and you won't have the option of posting to the micro-blogging site from Tumblr.The link between the two platforms can still be severed, but it's more of a formality.
Step 12: You can open it.
The app has a white "t" on it.If you're already signed in, your home page will open.Enter your email address and password if you aren't signed into the site.
Step 13: There is a pencil icon.
This can be found either at the bottom-center of the screen for the iPhone or in the lower right corner on the phone's operating system.
Step 14: You can tap a post type.
Any type of post can be turned off by you.
Step 15: You can tap the blue icon.
You can see the bird-shaped icon in either the top-right side of your post or at the bottom of the page on your phone.When you publish this post, the icon will turn grey, signifying that it won't go to Twitter.If the bird icon is grey, you won't be able to post.
Step 16: Go to the website.
It is located at www.tumblr.com.This will take you to your home page if you are signed in on your browser.Enter your email address and password if you aren't signed into the site.
Step 17: Click on the pencil icon.
You can find it in the top-right corner of the page.
Step 18: Pick a post type.
You can change the settings on your account for any type of post.
Step 19: You can click the blue icon.
There is a button at the bottom of the post window.When you publish the post, make sure to prevent it from going to Twitter as well.If the bird icon is grey, you won't be able to post.
