How To Use Effects in the Facebook Camera on Android
The Facebook Camera for Android can be used to add masks, filters, and frames to photos and videos.
Step 1: Go to Facebook.
You can find it on your home screen or in the app drawer.
Step 2: You can tap the camera.
There is a blue camera icon near the top- left corner of the screen.If you use the Facebook camera for the first time, you may have to give the app permission to take pictures and record videos.To flip the lens on the front camera, tap the camera icon with two curved arrows.
Step 3: There is a magic wand icon.
It is at the bottom- left corner of the screen.You can apply the stickers and masks to your image.
Step 4: To select a mask, tap the mask icon.
You can add masks to your photo or video before you take it.If you want to add a face mask to someone's face, you need to tap one of the options.If you don't want to use a mask, scroll to the top of the list and tap the circle with a line through it.
Step 5: To choose a color or lighting filter, tap the three stars.
To see a live preview, tap each option.If you don't want to use one of these filters, scroll back to the top of the list and tap the circle with a line through it.
Step 6: The frame icon has a tap on it.
The last icon is at the bottom of the screen.Here you can find fun frames and stickers to apply to your photo.Frames are not animated.
Step 7: To close the effects screen, Swipe down on the camera.
The effects you selected are visible in the preview.
Step 8: To take a photo, tap the large round button.
To record a video, tap and hold the button.You will see a preview of the effects you added when you take a photo or video.
Step 9: Make last-minute changes by using effects.
If you would like to add or remove a frame or filter, you can do so here.It is not possible to change or add masks after recording.You can use this screen to flip the photo.The wrench and screwdriver icon is at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Step 10: You can add text by tapping Aa.
You can use this tool to type a message on your photo or video.At the top-right corner of the screen, tap when you are done typing.
Step 11: To draw, tap the pencil icon.
If you want to draw on your photo or video, tap this icon, select a color, and start drawing.You can save your work by tapping.
Step 12: You can share your work by tapping the arrow in the circle.
If you have created a photo or video with Facebook Camera, you can post it to your timeline, share it with friends, or send it directly to a friend.
