On top of your middle layer, place the large outer ring of cake.Put some frosting on the inside of the ring and put the middle ring of chocolate cake in the frosted ring.Place the middle ring of chocolate with frosting in the center of the cake.The sides and top of the cake should be completely covered with the rest of your frosting.You should see three alternating layers when you slice the cake.
