I posted this in chat, but haven't had a response yet.The kids said it smelled like a farm when they came back a few hours later. It's like a wet dog to me.How can I make my house smell better?

How long have you lived there? If you've just moved, could it be old dog hair?Is it possible to clean out the vacuum cleaner filters? Is it possible to sprinkle bicarb before the next vacuum?

Is there a damp problem?I have rented houses in the past that were damp and that's how I would describe it, I'm not an expert but hopefully someone will have a better explanation.

That's strange, right?I agree, it will probably be related to water.

I bet it's your mop head, I made the place smell like wet dogs and I have no pets.

When I wet cleaned my wool rug, there was a problem with leaks and spills near the carpet.?

Does anyone in your household have sweaty feet or a new pair of shoes?I noticed an awful wet dog smell in my house and tracked it down to some shoes which had been refreshed.Good luck finding the source of the smell.

We had a small leak from the kitchen and it created puddles under the lino and made us smell bad.The warm weather makes the smell ofbacteria grow quickly.
