Do you own a Farmer's Co-op?You should be able to get lime at one of these Co-ops if you live in an agricultural area. There is a link advertising that it has lime.

Outside of that, there are a number of smaller companies that deal with livestock, seed, and chemicals.

Why would you need a ton of lime?An acre of the most acidic soil would not require a ton of lime.2,000 lbs.It would cover about 10 acres.Do you think you need to change your application rate?If you are going to do an application on a 1 1/2 acres turf, do you have the equipment?I assume it is not a full size tractor, but a smaller spreader or pull behind distribution Hopper, which can only be filled with a few pounds of lime at a time.I don't think dropping off a ton in your driveway is right.I don't know where you got that 1 ton application from, an acre should only require 200 lbs at most.
