Step 1: You can go to 500px.com in a web browser.
Go to the 500px Photographer Directory in your preferred browser.The 500px Directory connects clients with photographers they can hire for specific assignments.A profile that displays your rates, services, location, equipment, availability, and other information can help you land well-paying jobs.To get an idea of what to put into your profile, browse the profiles of other photographers.If you want to list your services in the Directory, you must have a Pro or Pro+ account.When you are still in the free trial period, you can list your services.
Step 2: Sign up by scrolling down and clicking.
There is a button at the bottom of the page.Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in if you haven't already done so.
Step 3: Click Next to fill out the profile form
If applicable, enter your name, company name and other personal details.Introduce yourself and describe your work to potential clients in theography section.You can enter the URLs into the blanks at the bottom of the form if you have a website or social media accounts.Clients can follow these links to see more of your work.
Step 4: From the drop-down menu, choose the service you offer.
The menu is at the top of the page.
Step 5: List your interests.
A list of the subjects you work with.The drop-down menu has a list of your specialties.To select it, click a specialty.You can add additional specialties.
Step 6: You should list your rates.
You can enter your rates if you know what you want to charge for your services.
Step 7: List all of your equipment.
Clients want to know that you have the right tools for the job.If you want to list your equipment, type in your camera information.You can add more cameras by clicking and entering the next model.You can check the boxes for other equipment in the "Other" section.
Step 8: You can enter the language that you speak.
You can choose a language from the first and second drop-down menu.If you speak more than one language, add that language and level.
Step 9: List your availability.
You can shoot next to the boxes if you tap them.
Step 10: Click the next one.
It is at the bottom of the form.
Step 11: The best photos for each specialty can be uploaded.
You can add up to 8 photos for each specialty.Click the first box to add photos.Click if the photo is on your phone or if you already uploaded it to 500px.Select the photo from the list.Continue the process to add more photos.
Step 12: Click the finish button.
It is at the bottom of the page.
Step 13: Click the finish button.
There is a blue button near the center of the page.Your directory profile is complete.When searching for photographers, clients will see your profile.You will be prompted to complete your 500px profile if you haven't already done so.You need to fill out your personal info.
Step 14: You can go to 500px.com in a web browser.
You can navigate to the main website using any web browser.You can sell your photos through the stock photo marketplace if you are a member of 500px.If you don't already have an account, click at the top-right corner of the screen and follow the instructions to sign in.
Step 15: Click the mouse to see your profile photo.
It can be found in the top-right corner of the page.This opens a menu.
Step 16: Click the settings you want to modify.
The drop-down menu has it at the center.
Step 17: Click on the LICENSING tab.
It is at the top of the screen.
Step 18: You can contribute to 500px Licensing.
There is a blue button at the top of the page.
Step 19: The photo you want to sell can be licensed next to it.
Step 20: Accept the license agreement.
Click under Step 1 and then check the box to accept the agreement.
Step 21: Model release forms to be uploaded
You must share each model's signed release form with 500px if your photos contain recognizable people.See the model release guide for more information if you don't know whether you need a form.Click under Step 2 to download a blank model release form template.Select the file from your computer if you want to upload a signed form.You can still offer a limited use version of the photo if you can't provide release forms.People will not be able to use the photo for commercial purposes.
Step 22: Property owner forms can be uploaded.
If your photo contains artwork, logos, or other recognizable property, you will need the owner to sign release forms so you can share them with 500px.Click under Step 3 if you need a blank release form.Select the file from your computer if you want to upload a signed form.You can still offer a limited use version of the photo if you can't provide release forms.People will not be able to use the photo for commercial purposes.
Step 23: You can choose to make your photo available for editorial use.
You can request a license that approves the photo for editorial use only if you can't provide release forms for models.Buyers cannot use your photo for marketing/advertising purposes, but they can still use it for non-commercial purposes.
Step 24: Do you want to license the image solely?
If this photo has never been licensed commercially and you don't want to make it available for sale elsewhere, check the box to give 500px exclusive rights to the photo.You will earn 60 percent of total photo sales with this option.Do not check the box if the photo has been licensed for commercial use in the past or if you want to sell it through another marketplace.30% of net sales can be earned with a non-exclusive license.
Step 25: The photo has people in it.
The box tells you how many humans are in the photo.
Step 26: To find a location, select it.
To describe where you took the photo, check, or under Step 7.
Step 27: Click to submit.
There is a button at the bottom of the form.500px will process your license request.If 500px needs more information to process your license, they will contact you.Your photo will be listed for sale through other partners once it is licensed.
