Step 1: Early to mid-autumn is a good time to wait.

Step 2: Take the clump out of the ground and divide it.
Move the rest of the place to their new homes in the garden.
Step 3: RePlant.
Two-thirds of the bulb should be placed under the ground when returning the bulbs to ground.
Step 4: There is a new flowering plant.
They won't flower the next season.The bulb might need time to recover from the disruption.Either the next year or the following year will see the return of flowers.
Step 5: The leaves of the lilies need to die off.
It will be late spring and early summer.After the leaves are gone a shoot will appear very quickly.
Step 6: Lift the clump out of the ground.
