You can add a check mark to a Word document.

You can add a checkmark symbol to a Microsoft Word document on both Windows and Mac computers.You can use the Symbols menu on your computer if you can't find the checkmark icon in Word.

Step 1: Open the document.

You can insert a checkmark by double-clicking the Word document.Click on the main page if you want to create a new document.

Step 2: There is a place to insert the checkmark.

Click on the point where you want to insert your checkmark.There is a blinking cursor.

Step 3: Click on the tab that says "Insert."

Step 15: You can type on the character map.

The Character Map program can be found on your computer.

Step 16: Click the Character Map to see it.

It is at the top of the menu.The Character Map window will open.

Step 17: You can click on the "Font" drop down box.

This can be found at the top of the Character Map window.

Step 18: Click Wingdings 2 after scrolling down.

You'll need to scroll all the way to the bottom to find it in the "Font" drop-down menu.

Step 19: You can choose the checkmark icon.

The checkmark is at the bottom of the Character Map window.

Step 20: Click to copy.

The Character Map window has it at the bottom.The checkmark icon will be copied.

Step 21: You can open the Microsoft Word document.

Step 22: Place the checkmark in the right place.

Step 23: You can paste in the symbol.

To do so, press the Ctrl+V key.The checkmark should appear in your document.

Step 30: Click the checkmark symbol to double-click.

The Word document will be inserted at the scruple's position.
