You can learn how to uninstall a Skype account.You can only remove your Microsoft account if you want to.Deleting other services associated with your Microsoft account is what this means.If you don't want to remove your entire Microsoft account, you can hide it from a search.
Step 1: In a web browser, go to http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink
This will take you to the Microsoft website.It's the only way to get rid of your account.Deleting your Microsoft account will also remove your associated email addresses.If this Microsoft account is associated with a Microsoft product subscription, you will no longer have access to that product.
Step 2: Click Next to enter your Microsoft email.
Click the blue button if you want to type the email address associated with your Microsoft account.
Step 3: Click Sign In to enter your password.
This shows you in to your account.
Step 4: Click to send a message.
The email address or phone number you linked to your Microsoft account is sent a verification code.
Step 5: Get your verification code.
You can open your phone's messages app, then tap the message from Microsoft, depending on the option you chose.There is a seven-digit verification code in the text.Click the email from Microsoft entitled "Microsoft account security code" and look for the seven-digit number in the middle of it.If you don't see the email within a few minutes, check the "Updates" and "Spam" folders.
Step 6: The verification code needs to be entered.
You can type your code into the "Code" text field in the web browser tab to cancel your account.
Step 7: Click to verify.
There is a blue button in the window.This will lead you to the "Ready to close" page.Clicking the link on the following page will take you to the "Ready to close" page.
Step 8: You can click next.
The "Make sure [name] is ready to close" page is in the bottom- left corner.Before you cancel your account, this page tells you some actions you should take.Cancel any subscriptions you have with Microsoft.You can remove any business or organization services from your Microsoft account.You can save your HealthVault records.You can use any remaining credits or balances.Automatic email replies are set up for your Outook accounts.All Windows devices should be turned off.
Step 9: You can click each one on the page.
Click on the left side of the page to see the effects of closing it.
Step 10: There is a reason for closing the account.
If you want to close your account, click the drop-down box at the bottom of the page.If you don't have a reason, click in the drop-down menu.
Step 11: Click the Mark account to close it.
There is a blue button in the bottom left corner of the page.You will be marked for deletion if you do that.60 days later, your account will be deleted.You didn't check all of the boxes if the account is greyed out.
Step 12: In a web browser, go to https://www.skype.com/en/.
You can change your profile on the website.
Step 13: Click to sign up.
It can be found in the upper-right corner of the page.A drop-down menu is displayed.
Step 14: Click My Account.
The drop-down menu has it's first option.You will be directed to a sign-in page if you aren't signed in to your Microsoft account.You can enter the email address associated with your account.Click if you want to enter your password.
Step 15: Click on the profile you want to modify.
The first option is at the bottom of the screen.
Step 16: The check box should be checked next to "Discoverability."
The first option is "Profile settings".This will prevent your account from showing up in search results.This will allow you to remove your account from public view.
